Salar de Uyuni

Surreal few days roaming around the world’s largest salt flat. Our boy the guide put in some serious legwork creating cinematic masterpieces.

It was, however, -9 degrees on the final night. Sleeping in a building with no electricity / heating. I have no coat. Survival method included locating the only source of fire in the village shop, which somehow turned into a karaoke party with the locals.

Natural hot springs partially bringing me back to life at 6am for border crossing to Chile. Unfortunately still ended up completing the form for entry to Bolivia, rather than exit. Border man not best pleased.Edit this block to edit the article content or add new blocks...
